Jose Ruiz
Jose Ruiz graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law where he served as the Articles Editor for the Arkansas Law Notes journal and was a member of the University of Arkansas School of Law Trial Team. He also served as Vice-Chair for the Board of Advocates and coached the University of Arkansas Undergraduate Mock Trial Team. Prior to law school, Jose obtained his bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. Before joining our team, he clerked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas, County Prosecutor’s office, and Clark Law Firm, PLLC. During his spare time, Jose enjoys going to the gym, rooting for his favorite sports teams, and seeing as many Broadway productions that come to town.
Ezra Smith
Ezra Smith graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law where he served as Communications and Staff Editor for the Arkansas Law Notes Journal and as student representative to the American Bar Association. He also won the 2018 Altheimer Moot Court Competition, alongside his classmate Jake Holmes, and received awards for superior oral advocacy in both the 2018 Altheimer and the 2019 Boston Regional Moot Court Competitions. Ezra also worked as a student clerk for U.S. Federal District Judge Timothy Brooks during his third year of law school. Prior to law school, Ezra studied International Relations and Arabic at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Before joining our team, Ezra worked at the law firm of Wales Comstock, representing motor carriers in personal injury cases. In his free time, Ezra enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Alyssa, exercising, camping, floating, hiking, or reading history.
John Andrew Ellis
Drew has practiced law since 1999 and has extensive litigation experience representing clients in injury and death claims and eminent domain cases. He currently practices at our Little Rock office, having previously practiced for 19 years at The Boswell Law Firm in Bryant, and before that, as a deputy prosecutor in Saline County. He graduated from Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock in 1991, graduated cum laude from the University of the South—Sewanee, Tennessee, in 1995, and from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville in 1999, afterwards writing the top paper on the Arkansas Bar Examination. Drew is licensed in both state and federal court and has membership in the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Pulaski and Saline County Bar Associations, and the Arkansas Bar Association, where he is a tenured member of the House of Delegates. In his free time, Drew can be seen pumping iron in the gym, riding his bicycle everywhere he can, and performing onstage at local community theaters throughout Central Arkansas.
Drew Carnahan
Drew Carnahan graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law and was licensed to practice law in 2023. During law school, Drew served on the Board of Advocates as co-chair of the William H. Sutton Barrister’s Union Trial Competition and was a finalist in the Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition. Drew also worked as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and served on a trial court traveling team for the law school. Prior to law school, Drew obtained his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arkansas State University. In his spare time, Drew enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, reading, and watching Survivor.

Andrea Garner
Andrea has been working as a litigation specialist for the past 6 years and has worked with Alan LeVar since 2010. She has prepared documents and discovery in complex litigation involving car collisions, large truck collisions, motorcycle and pedestrian versus car collisions. She has also assisted with wrongful death litigation, premises liability litigation and various other personal injury cases. Andrea graduated from Henderson State University in 2007 with a BA in Political Science. She currently resides in Arkadelphia with her husband and five Labrador dog-children.
LeeAnn Rhodes
LeeAnn Rhodes is one of our Case Managers at our Arkadelphia Office. Before joining our team she spent over 10+ years in the pharmacy field dealing with medical and insurance-related claims. LeeAnn is also a licensed insurance producer in Arkansas, which is a great benefit to our office. LeeAnn has a passion for great customer service and will try her hardest to bring joy to everyone she meets. LeeAnn currently resides in Gurdon with her husband Kirk and their 3 kids, 2 pigs, and 1 squirrel dog. In her free time, she enjoys decorating, fishing, hunting, and attending her children’s sports activities.
Valeria Torres
Valeria is a case manager. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a double major in graphic design and psychology. She has four nieces who she adores! She enjoys hammocking, hidden swimming holes, and bonfires with family and friends.
Ann Hughes
Ann Hughes is a Case Manager at our Arkadelphia office. Before joining our team, she spent over 18+ years as a licensed property and casualty insurance producer in Arkansas. Ann’s eagerness to provide great customer service is always her top priority. In her free time Ann enjoys spending time with her family, camping and travel.
Allison Crangle
Allison Crangle is a Case Manager in our Arkadelphia office. She is a licensed insurance producer, and worked specifically with commercial insurance before joining our team. Allison and her husband, Jake, reside in Bismarck, AR where they farm. They have three Australian Shepherd’s-Abby, Kate, and Hank. In her free time, she enjoys hunting and spending time on the farm with family.
Ana Vasquez
Ana joined our team in January as an intern and later transitioned to case manager. She is a student at Henderson State University majoring in Public Administration and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up on new tv shows, watching movies, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Ginger Overturf
Ginger Overturf is a case manager. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with degrees in psychology and sociology. Before joining our team, Ginger spent 5+ years in medical billing, and has also worked as an executive director for a non-profit organization. Ginger loves helping others. She and her husband, Mark, have 3 kids and 1 daughter-in-law. Ginger enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and cooking.
Terri Bailey
Terri heads up our New Client Team and manages our Little Rock office. She loves meeting new people and really enjoys getting to know our prospective new clients. She has been married to her sweetheart for 30 years. She is the mother to two of the “sweetest boys ever”. They are now grown men with families of their own. Terri, or Honey as she is called by her 2 grandsons, loves spending time with family and friends. She is an avid movie goer and has been known to binge a series or two on Netflix.
Makenzie Grider
Makenzie Grider is a sophomore at Ouachita Baptist University double majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice. In her free time she enjoys boat-riding on the river, spending time with family, and playing with her two dogs.
Gaysha Owens
Gaysha is part of our New Client Team. Before joining our firm, she spent 18 years working as a case manager in the personal injury field. Gaysha has 3 grown children and 9 grandchildren that call her Mimi. She is also a pet mom. Ask her about her newest family member, Creed. She affectionately refers to him as her 4 legged toddler. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, going to concerts, and traveling with her friends and family.
Jesi Childres
Jesi Childres is one of our Case Managers at our Arkadelphia Office. She has 5+ years experience in the personal injury legal field, along with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. Jesi is also a licensed life insurance producer in Arkansas. Jesi currently resides in Gurdon with her husband Buck and their 2 kids, 4 cats, and 3 dogs. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in her church, homeschooling her kids, cooking and baking, and attending her kids’ extra curricular activities.
